DIRECTIONS:

  1. Wash your face to remove dead skin and fat. It is the best if you shave just after taking a shower.
  2. Get moisture into the hairs.
  3. Put a few drops of shaving oil into the palm of your hand (3-6 Drops is enough) and with two fingers apply it to all the places on your face that you want to shave.
  4. Splash some more (hot) water on your face – the fact that water and oil do not mix well is the reason why your blade glides so fine.
  5. First shave twice in the direction of the grain
  6. Splash your face with cold water to get rid of any hair remains and to close the pores.

I regard this great product as absolutely essential for wet shaving, be it with a safety or straight razor. It creates a slick foundation under shaving foam that promotes an incredibly smooth razor stroke. For my sensitive skin it is indispensable. Its formulation is aromatic with peppermint oil being dominant which I really like. Some may prefer using it without shaving soap/cream...but I prefer it with.

Lovely product and highly recommended.
